Peer Review Process

The Journal of Religion, Ethics and Organizational Management (JREOM) implements a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published manuscripts. In this review system, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process in order to maintain fairness, objectivity, and impartiality.

Every manuscript submitted to JREOM first undergoes an initial editorial screening conducted by the Editorial Team. At this stage, the manuscript is evaluated for its relevance to the journal’s scope, compliance with author guidelines, academic writing quality, and adherence to publication ethics standards. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected before entering the review stage.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then sent to independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area of the manuscript. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including originality, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, clarity of analysis, relevance of references, significance of findings, and overall academic quality.

The reviewers provide constructive comments and recommendations to assist authors in improving the quality of their manuscripts. Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the Editorial Board may decide to:

• accept the manuscript without revision,
• accept the manuscript with minor revisions,
• request major revisions,
• or reject the manuscript.

Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts carefully according to the reviewers’ and editors’ comments within the specified revision period. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.

The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance is made by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the quality of revisions, and the journal’s editorial standards.

Throughout the peer review process, JREOM maintains confidentiality, fairness, professionalism, and ethical integrity. Reviewers are expected to conduct objective and unbiased assessments, avoid conflicts of interest, and maintain the confidentiality of the manuscripts they review.
