Abstract
Work-life balance (WLB) is a major concern in the technology industry, which is known for its high workload and flexible working hours. The literature suggests that achieving work-life balance contributes significantly to employee organizational commitment. This study reviews empirical literature examining the relationship between WLB and employee commitment, particularly in the technology sector. The study results show that achieving good WLB is positively correlated with increased employee loyalty, affective engagement and productivity, especially when supported by transformational leadership, flexible policies and high work engagement.
